Comment:  There is a possibility to walk to the top of a mountain called Skala. The path goes steep up and leads you along the river Føsdola. Actually the river keeps on falling, but this is the biggest vertical fall. Although it is not in the river Skålelva, I assume this is the Skålefossen.
