The landscape in Finland slowly changes from flat in the south to the higher hills in the north. In the northwest there is a mountaineous area with the Haltiatunturi being the highest mountain (1328m). The highest, free fall waterfall is the most famous of the country, Hepoköngäs (24 meter). Further up in the north there seems to be a higher waterfall, Korkeakoski, with a fall of 46 mtr, but is not so impressive.
